Visual Arts Center
The Visual Arts Center is continually planning for future exhibitions and has opportunities for both professional and emerging artists.
The Visual Arts Center Exhibition Selection Committee welcomes proposals from individual artists, groups of artists and guest curators for exhibitions in all media and subject matter for our eight spacious galleries.
Showcasing leading regional, national and international artists in a variety of media.
1,700 sq. ft.
Featuring traditional artwork reflecting the Heartland.
1,500 sq. ft.
Showcasing traditional and contemporary artwork by Northern Plains Tribal Artists including work from the Visual Arts Center Permanent Collection.
1,200 sq. ft.
Featuring artwork by emerging regional artists.
400 sq. ft.
Showcasing artwork by faculty and students from regional institutions.
740 sq. ft.
Featuring artwork in all media from established regional to international artists.
5,000 sq. ft.
Showcasing contemporary digital, installation and new media artwork.
700 sq. ft.
This gallery at the entrance to the Visual Arts Center welcomes visitors with two original light fixtures by Dale Chihuly and often features photography exhibitions.
There is no deadline for proposals. The Exhibition Selection Committee reviews proposals on a quarterly basis. Please be aware that it may take some time for your submission to be scheduled for review. Email all submission materials to museums@washingtonpavilion.org
